Our locations
In addition to our headquarter in Baar in Switzerland, EUCO Rail operates a number of strategically located branches at the pulse of the trans-European rail corridors.
Langweid am Lech
Centrally located in Europe and near the main corridors, the rail depot in Langweid am Lech is one of the most modern, flexible and largest of its kind. In conjunction with the recently built Customer Centre it provides the perfect arrangement for fulfilling customer requirements for top-quality maintenance. Customer meetings and workshops can be held here in a unique atmosphere.

Welcome to the Customer Centre of EUCO Rail Services. The building was constructed according to sustainable principles and provides an opportunity to welcome customers as well as new staff members. Modern seminar rooms, offices, meeting rooms in the vicinity of the tracks, canteen, café and social rooms round out the space available.

Major and minor maintenance tasks and refurbishing of all types of vehicle (locomotives, EMUs, DMUs, BMUs, coaches etc.) can be carried out here, on eight tracks measuring up to 186 metres in length (+ overrun) and a workshop with a floor area of over 9,000 m².

High-end investments like a Hegenscheidt tandem-lathe mean that the precise working of underfloor wheel sets of all construction types and the processing of brake pads can be carried out precisely and efficiently here. There is also a calibrated 0-measuring track for corresponding validations. These are only some of the services which can be carried out on vehicles by all manufacturers.
Essingen
Our modern and flexible depot for straightforward and complicated maintenance tasks lies near Aalen, with a direct link to the Stuttgart-Ulm railway line.

The depot extends across a total workshop area of 4,500 m², as well as 500 m² of office space and 600 m² of logistics space. The property is leased on a long-term rental contract. With a length of 186 metres, it contains cutting-edge mechanical and electrical workshops. The depot provides two maintenance tracks as well as a siding. A lifting system is available for vehicles up to 120 metres in length. There is also a stand for roofing work with a length of 120 metres and a calibration track for the precise measurement of wheel sets.
Gersthofen
Our new state-of-the-art component centre was recently established in a high-end industrial park in Gersthofen. Here wheel set processing, bogie overhauls and the servicing and overhaul of railway components are carried out in a professional and expert manner, using the latest equipment and a machine park by the top manufacturers in the sector.

The modern premises extend over 4,500 m² and lie only 10 km from Langweid, thereby guaranteeing very short throughput times. The hall is equipped with the latest processing machinery as well as six 10-tonne cranes, thereby permitting an efficient and flexible handling of heavy components. The space is ideal for the overhaul of wheel sets and bogies, with the aim of including further components in the maintenance process in future. In addition the existing storage area provides a cost-efficient alternative to the previous external storage.
