About us
EUCO Rail AG is an independent European rail services provider born from a start-up launched in 2018. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, it has two subsidiaries in Germany, EUCO Rail Development GmbH and EUCO Rail Services GmbH. EUCO Rail inherits a strong service DNA, a partnership and collaboration spirit and an open-source approach. We are OEM-free and a true partner to private operators and all railway manufacturers.
Our core business is to deliver rolling stock services in Germany, as well as technical and industrial consultancy. We will take broad responsibilities and always aim to achieve growth through working closely with our customers and partners.
We are set up to grow in Europe to provide services for private passenger operators within long-term operation contracts.

Our Industrial Base
EUCO Rail is the owner of a new state-of-the-art maintenance facility in Langweid am Lech near Munich, enabled to support future maintenance work thanks to its perfect location on the railway crossroads.
Strategically located in the railway crossroad region in Germany, it is open to service any type of rolling stock and offers: Upgrades. Overhauls. Modernization design and work.
Key characteristics Langweid:
- Complete new build, latest materials and high energy efficiency
- 8 tracks in 3 major halls connected to the mainline railway:
- 9,000 m² of workshop space,
- 2,000 m² of warehousing space,
- 1,500 m² of planned office space
- Workshop hall length – 190m, width – 58m
- 2x Light Maintenance elevated tracks with gantries 160m
- 1x Heavy Maintenance pit track 160m + 30m outside
- 1x Heavy Maintenance pit track 80m
- 1x Tandem high-speed wheel lathe incl. 120m pit track
- 3x Exterior stabling tracks
- 6x Mobile service teams ready to travel up to 200km
Key characteristics Essingen:
- Size: 4,500 m2 workshop area, 500 m2 office area, 600 m2 logistics area
- Length of the depot: 186 m
- Capacity: 90,000 maintenance hours/year
- Creation of highly qualified 30 jobs
